OWEN, Claude "Jay", 83, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, went
to be with his Lord on October 26, 2003. He was born September 20, 1920, in Parsons,
Kansas. He leaves behind his loving wife, Cecelia "Cele"; four children, Jim
(Wren), Jack (Jacki), Joyce and Jan (Greg); and numerous grand-children and
great-grandchildren. The Lord has blessed our family with the 62-year marriage of our
parents. We are grateful to know that our dear Dad is at rest and is in the presence of
God. A memorial celebration will be held Saturday, November 8, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ
Community Church, 7801 East Kenyon (at Pantano), Tucson, Arizona (520-296-8501). In lieu
of flowers, me-morial contributions may be made in Jay's memory to Carondelet Hospice
Services, 1802 West St. Mary's Road, Tucson, Arizona, 85745-2619.
